Lado is a collection of washbasins born from a simple question: can geometry change the way we look at an everyday object?
Through a gesture of subtraction, we reduced the ceramic volume to its essence: a continuous inner basin, circular or elliptical, wrapped by a faceted surface that folds, breaks and resumes.
Each facet catches the light differently, so the object is never evenly lit and changes with the time of day and the viewer's point of view. The collection includes two countertop basins and a freestanding column.
