A thin cane of coloured glass runs through the glass in a single line: from the edge of the foot it climbs, turns into a stem and continues all the way to the bowl and beyond.
In this project, one of the basic elements of glass working, the glass cane, becomes structure and center, transforming the classic cocktail glass into an object that gracefully proclaims its origins and the skills of the master’s hand.

“Two triangles and a line, geometries that become volumes. A thread of colour joins two transparencies, a simple and elegant gesture that enhances the qualities of the glass.”
