Interpretation of recycled stones from Val d’Ossola.
A collection of small tables and centerpieces obtained by a single slab of classic palissandro marble.
The slabs, corrugated on one side and smoothed on the other, are sawn with angular cuts and then glued in the opposite direction, creating an alternate surface, giving the objects their character and definition.

The winning entry of the Women for Expo competition for the Expo Milano 2015, organized by Elle Decor Italia.
Although it is a relatively small object, it has a strongly recognizable image. It is a symbol that can be worn by women and men, of any age and nationality, and it is easy to reproduce in a variety of materials, such as metal, paper or fabric. The two overlapping halves recall the wings of a butterfly, one of the insects that play a key part in the reproductive cycle of the planet, hence the name.

For the 24th Biennial of Design in Ljubljana, we were invited to work with the craftsmen of Ribnica, a valley with a long history in the production of woodenware and pottery, dating back almost 500 years. Starting from a first sketch we asked a potter to model a shape, then passing it to a woodturner to do the same, the results was then brought to different weavers, who joined the halves in a single piece using hazel strips. Pieces fail to fulfill a function if alone, they need to be combined to one another, and only in their union can they produce an object of use.

A collection of 9 pieces of furniture designed for the solo exhibition in la Triennale di Milano. We presented the WWW collection in an environment in which the white light was alternated with the black (wood light), revealing hidden geometries and altering the perception of the space and the exhibit.
